In many cases the police know exactly who the killer is; they simply lack enough evidence to secure a conviction under the law. Most investigators who worked on the case believed Arthur Allen was the guilty party and that’s who I suspect the Zodiac to be - although that suspect Sullivan bears an uncanny resemblance to the composite. The creepiest thing I've learned about this case is how all of those photos that were taken over the course of hours at night from the exact same spot of the trees and sky. I watched a video where they can identify the same crooked tree in each photo over the course of hours. That means someone sat in one spot taking photos of the dark night sky and treetops for hours in the middle of the night.

The same is true of doctors, and in medical circles it’s considered a bad idea for a doctor to treat a relative or loved one. John Laurdinarts covered this case on his "Brainscratch" podcast a several years ago and I watched it and must say is one of the most interesting mysteries on record, because they never caught who wrote the letters or how Mary's husband was killed...not to satisfactory at least. But one thing for sure, whoever wrote these letters were really scorn and hurt over Mary Gilespie.

This case is so strange. I wonder if he met with some accident in the building trapped somewhere and couldn't get out. There was a case in China about the disappearance of a mother and small daughter. They went shown coming out of elevator and somehow disappeared. There was also a case someone was trapped behind some large machine in a power house I think and was only found years later. One thing for sure he didn't run away and he is dead.
